How we verify codes
Every code on HintLoot goes through the same process, from the moment it appears to the day it expires.
1. Automatic monitoring
For every game we track, our monitor reads the official Roblox game page every 15 minutes. When the description changes, it compares the new text with the previous version and picks out anything that looks like a new code. We also follow the official Discord servers, Roblox groups and social accounts that developers use to announce codes.
2. "Just found" codes
A newly detected code appears on the game page straight away with a Just found label. It came from the developer's own page, so it usually works, but we have not tested it yet and the rewards may not be listed.
3. Hands-on testing
A member of our team joins the game, redeems the code and records the exact rewards. The code then becomes a normal working code, and the page's "Last checked" time updates. We also retest the working codes regularly.
4. Expiry
When a code stops working — or disappears from the official description and fails a retest — we move it to the expired list on the same page. We never silently delete codes, so you can always see what used to work.
