Open team sheet vs full team list
| Open team sheet | Full team list | |
|---|---|---|
| Species | Yes | Yes |
| Ability and held item | Yes | Yes |
| Tera Type (if your format uses it) | Yes | Yes |
| All four moves | Yes | Yes |
| EVs, IVs and nature | No | Yes |
An open team sheet is the version you show your opponent: it reveals what your Pokémon can do but keeps your stat spreads private. A full team list includes everything and is useful for your own notes, for team reports and for events that ask for complete information.
Tournament paperwork changes between seasons and organisers. If your event provides an official team list form, use that one and treat this tool as a quick way to prepare and check the information.
Which teams work?
Any team in the standard Showdown export format works, from doubles VGC teams to singles. The generator reads the nickname and species, gender, held item, ability, level, Tera Type, EVs, IVs, nature and up to four moves for each Pokémon, and it uses the first six Pokémon it finds. Team title lines such as "=== [format] Team name ===" are ignored.
If a field is missing in your export, the sheet shows a dash so you can spot it before you print.
Tips before a tournament
- Double-check items and abilities. A typo on a team sheet is easy to miss and awkward to explain.
- Match the in-game team. Make sure the moves and items on paper are the ones on your Switch.
- Bring a spare copy. Printing two sheets costs nothing and saves stress if one gets lost.
- Keep the full list for yourself. Your EV spreads are useful when you look back at how a tournament went.
